Megan McClafferty, FNP-BC
Megan is originally from the small town of Cumberland, MD. Her patient care journey started by working as a Medical Surgical nurse at UPMC Western Maryland. In 2017, she completed her Master's degree in Global Health from the University of Notre Dame. She then achieved her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Saint Mary's College. Megan then relocated to Nashville, TN where she began her provider role as a nurse practitioner in endocrinology. She further demonstrated her interest in the field through additional training as a certified diabetes educator. Megan's clinical approach combines contemporary evidenced based treatments and highly values informative collaboration with her patients. Her goal is to both provide her patients the tools to pursue wellness and to understand the process along the way.
Megan's interests include spending time with her husband, friends, family, and two dogs. She is a college and professional football fan and she enjoys baking, as well as exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in the city. Megan is looking forward to establishing roots in the DC area.
